Small Update (yes, already)
Crater Song » Devlog
Just a small update to Crater Song. A few things came up over the last 12 hours that resulted in a quick update.
- Added the ability to kill a normal Nox enemy with a meteorite chunk in Chapter 4. Previously, the enemy would not take damage and the meteorite chunk would just disappear. Now there is feedback and the enemy dies. In these cases, the player needs to reactivate the Meteorite Plate and fire it again to proceed.
- Slightly slowed down the “faster” version of the Nox eyeball monster during running sequences in Chapters 3 and 4. Just a little easier to grok their pattern and avoid them now.
- Slightly tweaked some wording in the credits. Jordan Davis should be credited with the SFX, too.
There's still one outstanding bug I'm scratching at, but other than that, there are no other planned changes unless the community reports some issues.
The known bug is a scenario, usually in the snowfields running section, when players activating the Twin Song ability (singing at the same time) forces a soundtrack change. This seems to be linked to a memory leak; I am investigating. In very rare cases, this can result in a hardlock, but it's difficult to recreate this outcome routinely (thankfully).
Cheers,
John
